ENDGAME OPEN INVITE

With endgame approaching, The Legion is extending an open invitation for any past players that want to join in for endgame to return to the game app-free! Any player that has ever played at the game may also join the game's post-endgame sandbox, as well. The only exceptions are the few players who were banned.

CURRENT STATE OF THE LEGION

Massive constructs - Chronoblivion's eyes - now float around every UP planet, watching them all as it prepares to consume the Legion's universe and then every other world after. Legion World has been destroyed. The war planet Apokolips - once the home of Superman's godlike archnemesis, Darkseid - still acts as a base for the forces of evil. Led by Chronoblivion's Herald, The Penitant, it's manned by nihilistic Catastrophist cultists that want to bring about the end of days.

But there's still hope. Though Legion World is gone, its self-destruct crippled Apokolips, leaving it stationary in space and unable to stalk the Legion. Taking refuge in a cramped, cloaked, decommissioned, barely-functioning Legion Outpost, the team is still refusing to give up and preparing for its final assault on Chronoblivion. Armed with the ancient chair of Metron, once belonging to the New God of knowledge, the team has a chance to get their hands on an artifact powerful enough to stop the Big C.

There's still a chance they can win against this cosmic evil. They may be outnumbered, outgunned, and under-equipped, but all it'll take is the Legion overcoming impossible odds against against an enemy that's never been beaten...

Um.

Piece of cake, right?

Luckily, the Time Trapper is willing to pull out all the stops and bring back some familiar faces to help out.

THE PHASES

Endgame will have three phases. Phases 1 and 2 will be posted at the same time, in case some players want to focus more on one than the other, but phase 2 will still be set after phase 1 chronologically. More detailed infopages will go up describing each phase before they're put up.

Phase 1: This is a disaster response event, where characters will have to protect the UP as it descends into hell. The fate of worlds will be at stake. Alongside saving planets, one group will have the chance to find and free the Legionnaires lost over a year ago and to face the Herald known as Judgement. Another group will have a chance to defeat the Heirophant, the Herald known as the Penitant.

Phase 2: The characters will have to fight their way through the broken universes that make up Chronoblivion's outer shell. In these realms, they'll find nightmares and enemies, some from their pasts or imaginations, others more horrible than anything they can imagine. The characters will find themselves splitting into multiple selves in the scenario, allowing them to face all the threats with different CR simultaneously, and will re-merge at the end and remember them all. Players will get to decide what each of these pocket universes entail and can individualize them for their characters and CR.

Phase 3: After getting through the final shell, the team will have to get each other and the artifact close enough to Chronoblivion's core self to destroy it, fighting their way through trippy and disorienting debris from dead universes in the ultimate game of keepaway.

WHERE CAN RETURNING CHARACTERS HOP IN?

As endgame reaches its final stages, the Time Trapper can potentially bring back past Legionnaires. This can include old players that dropped or old characters current players want to bring out one more time for final resolutions or a brief cameo. All cast, canon, and character-per-player caps will be lifted. Players can bring back old characters for all three parts of endgame, or just the last one or two parts, depending on preference.

Before part 1 and part 2 go up, there will be a network post right before the action for old teammates to reintroduce themselves. If players opt to bring back old characters just for part 3 alone, they'll have to simply hop right into the action.

All returned characters can be godded as being given their old uniforms, weapon, and gear by the Time Trapper.
