THE LEGION OUTPOST

With the destruction of Legion World, the characters will take refuge in a decommissioned Legion outpost.

THE LEGION OUTPOST

THE SHIP

While the outpost can remain mobile like Legion World and can keep itself cloaked, it's significantly smaller than Legion World and barely big enough to contain the team.

Alongside Dr. Gym'll, Dr. Ry'kerr, and Officer Shvaughn Erin, there will only be a skeleton screw of staffers joining the Legionnaires, and much of the upkeep of the outpost and operation of its systems will now fall on the Legionnaires themselves.

BATHROOMS

None of the crew quarters have their own bathrooms. The outpost has shared coed bathrooms and locker rooms with curtained sonic shower and toilet stalls.

CREW QUARTERS

Before the Legion Outpost was abandoned for the sake of larger bases, the Legion had to make as much room as possible for their then-growing team, leading to all the crew areas being refitted to hold as many Legionnaires possible. Crew lodgings are split between one massive coed barracks with bunks, and crew quarters that have enough bunks to fit 2-4 people depending on the size. Mods won't have any official roommate sign ups, but during their stay on the outpost, players can team up with other players to decide their characters' roommates.

The Legionnaires will have to get used to living in close quarters as the only places to really be alone are supply closets.

HANGAR

The hangar is very small and only contains the Bouncing Boy and barely enough Legion Cruisers.

HYDROPONICS

Hydroponics have mostly been stripped of useful plants. The only fresh plants growing right now are genetically-modified fast-growing protein-rich sweet potatoes. That's it as far as fresh food goes.

THE LABS

While the labs still have some defunct equipment that can be cannibalized and lots of components that haven't been shipped off yet, the labs have almost no useful fully-functioning technology to start with, which will make proper maintenance of weapons and equipment extremely difficult.

Only a few pieces of equipment from the Legion World lab have been preserved instead of destroyed or shipped off for safe-keeping elsewhere, like Metron's Throne, Brainy's failed experiment vault, some of the mechanical arrays used to build Legion standard equipment, and the vast dimensional mapping systems and experimental portals that have been used to study Chronoblivion's attachment to space and to find a way to eventually get the displacee Legionnaires home.

MEDBAY

The Medbay has been gutted of quite a bit of vital equipment and what's left is outdated by several years. While there is enough there to handle medical emergencies, the situation is not ideal and after endgame starts and the Legionnaires are cut off from outside medical help, Legionnaires may face longer recovery times than usual.

MESS HALL

The mess is barely large enough to hold the entire team at once, and while chef Tenzil will try his best to make them appetitizing, the Legion will be reduced to emergency rations. And sweet potatoes. Endless, endless sweet potatoes.

MISSION MONITOR ROOM

This room function in the same way Legion World's mission monitor room did, allowing the team to receive distress calls from across the UP, coordinate missions, and monitor dispatched Legionnaires. Due to the lack of staff, monitor duty will now exclusively be handled by Legionnaires, forcing the team to take turns.

REC ROOM

The ship has a single rec room with couches that's only just big enough to hold the whole team. There are a few hologames, but they're only as large as a table. There's a single viewscreen to use to watch the newlinks and entertainment channels for everyone to fight over, that's it.

THRESHOLD ROOM

There is a relatively small room with 5 threshold gates (and a Kwai guide for each) to dispatch the Legionnaires on their missions.

TRAINING ROOM

The training room has been all but gutted of equipment. The only thing that's still useful to the Legionnaires is that the walls, floor, and ceiling have been reinforced to resist superpower damage and to provide padding for sparring.

Feel free to plot with other players and ask the mods any questions below.

Aku will not be pleased about this roommate thing but he's fairly capable of tolerating most people, as long as their name isn't 'Rico Dredd'.

Since his only possessions are his hero gear and Jack's sword, packing will be quick and he'll likely be involved in moving equipment to the outpost. Metron's Throne in particular. Supervision will be necessary because he still wants to sit on it.

Zenyatta is going to insist that he doesn't need a bed and will be fine in a corner. I don't even think he has anything to really bring with him that will take up any space.

If anyone needs soothing chimes (or light mechanical whirring?) to help sleep during these trying times, Zen can help with that.

Robbie will be rooming with Vance at a minimum, also Niels.

He's going to be feeling pretty shitty about what happened with Legion World, and there will be a lot of what ifs. He won't see this as the least worst option.

Also Niels hates sweet potatoes.
