Hello! Celaeno here; you may remember me from some other games, though it's been awhile since I did any Dreamwidth RP. Blame Zita for getting me interested in it again.

I'm bringing in Rocket Raccoon from the MCU take on Guardians of the Galaxy. Since his buddy Groot hasn't followed him here, he's getting stuck with plant control powers. He also brings snark and an alarmingly lax personal policy towards using heavy weaponry.

So yeah, he's probably going to butt heads with a lot of people. It should be fun!

I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE ROCKET.

Sam here got his first bit of superhero training from Rocket and Gamora in the comics, which mostly involved him getting shot at and trying not to die, so he will be as happy to see Rocket as...one can be when a sometimes ally with an itchy trigger finger has no idea who you are, haha.

Shot at and trying to not die is a legitimate training strategy! If you survive it, it proves you learned something! (No one rope Rocket in training people here. He's too fond of live fire exercises.)

Explosion buddies! Rocket can get behind Piccolo's powerset.

ETA: I just realized explosions are Gohan's powerset, not Piccolo. Should I mention I think the benadryl I took is kicking in now? I can't brain today and keep characters straight, apparently.

I mean, this is DBZ. Everyone in DBZ can fire exploding energy blasts, so you're not far off.

Piccolo is the guy who trained Gohan. His training consisted of "don't die" before abandoning a four year old in the woods.

This makes the 'shoot at them until they figure out dodging' method sound gentle in comparison.

Yeah see that came six months later.

Hi I'm Luis and I play Gohan (from DBZ) and Reinhardt (from Overwatch). Gohan is a huge nerd who can shoot things, and Reinhardt is a precious old man who can block things. WELCOME.

Reinhardt, I'm at least a little bit familiar with. Go tank! Save our squishy DPS asses! Rocket will likely approve of Gohan, because...shooting things. He'll be happy to know other people have appreciation for things being blown to kingdom come. Heya!

REINHARDT WILL BE THE TEAM GRANDPA NO ONE KNEW THEY WANTED UNTIL NOW. Gohan, meanwhile, is a pacifist nerd who canonically has a lot of REALLY explosive power. Think the Hulk but instead of green muscles and a different personality it's just blonde spiky hair.

...'grandpa' is probably a nickname Reinhardt will hear a lot from Rocket, really. And hey, Gohan being a pacifist means less chance of 'Gohan SMASH' at the wrong taregt?

That's fine, Reinhardt will probably call him a furball and then laugh if it gets Rocket's feathers ruffled.

YEAH Gohan is very conscious about making sure he doesn't get too angry. He's from a canon point where he has that mostly under control though.

I'll just be over here making more pterodactyl screech noises.

...I feel like Parker and Rocket should be friends. In the sense that she also likes explosions and money and masterminding insane escapades wherein improbable things are stolen.
