[MOD PLOT] THE MOON IS A HARSH MISTRESS

The plot is now up!

HERE!

What is going on?

Something sabotaged the gravity generators on the planet Naltor and now its moon and the debris field that used to be its sister planet, Detria, are getting too close to the planet, causing natural disasters. The generators must be restored before both of them collide with the planet.

What can our characters do?

The post itself has all the possible scenarios that players can play out with each other, as well as a wild card option. There's a comment below where you can request new situations or ask questions about what's possible in the ones provided.

Where are the npc Legionnaires?

The npc Legionnaires are also on the planet doing disaster relief and if players need an npc Legionnaire for any reason, or feel their character would need some on-the-job guidance, there's a comment below where you can contact the mods for an npc to show up. Otherwise, all the Legionnaires are being thrown in head first because there's not much other choice.

How will my character know where to go?

While the comms will go in and out thanks to atmospheric conditions, occasionally breaking up contact with Kid Quantum, you can assume that your Legionnaires are being given orders or good info on the best places for them to be from either Kid Quantum or from nearby UP disaster relief coordinators. This is being streamed to their comms. Usually, they will be matched with situations that their abilities can help with, or, if not, it's because they're the only one that can reach a situation in time.

While there will be a lot of chaos and confusion, your character will at least always know where to go and will be given priority clearance through threshold gates all over the planet to get there.

What does the gravity generator option entail?

For the repair option, that situation can use both techie Legionnaires to fix things and Legionnaires to watch their backs and the backs of the UP scientists, as the threat isn't entirely gone.

Are there any limitations on how many scenarios we can play?

No! During the course of the plot, players may play out as many scenarios as they like with as many other players as they like! The Legion would be in for a loooong day, making for quite a few different possible pair ups!

Can I opt out of this?

Yes! Since a natural disaster is a pretty heavy subject, and since some players may need to handwave one or all of their characters somewhere else, this plot is opt in. To explain where some characters might be instead of Naltor, it can be handwaved that they're on another important mission taking down some criminals.
