Player Plotting / CR Meme

This is the periodic CR meme you can use to plot with other players or plan out CR. If you post, please try to respond to at least 3 other players so people aren't just posting and not commenting.
Character:
Basic personality:
What has happened to them recently?: Give a brief summary of what they have been doing.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: Anything that might grab someone, or they can get involved with, or pretty much anything that could spark CR that didn't fall into the above.
For the upcoming plots, they'll have their own plotting posts, if you'd like a place to plot with others on that specifically, but you can also use this post.

saralegui
Basic personality: Manipulative schemer who's kinda trying to turn over a new leaf. He usually puts on a very pleasant and polite public face, but he's been letting that slip more and more as he realizes that no one here gives a shit.
What has happened to them recently?: He was involved with the terrorist attack during the field trip, but he isn't really a direct fighter so he mostly hid behind a bench until Marinette broke the dude's helmet for him and got Thad to carry him in close for a mindwhammy. Now the space media thinks he's involved in some sorta superhero love triangle and he thinks it's hilarious.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: Mind control shenanigans! Lemme know if you want nothing to do with that shit, or alternatively, if you wanna use it for something ICly. As for CR, I love people he can tease and joke around with and people he can antagonize, and I'm totally down for negative CR if you think he'd rub your character the wrong way!
Re: saralegui
Re: saralegui
adrien
Basic personality: A very polite and friendly rich boy who's secretly a huge goofball. He loves puns and cats and flirting, and he'll get more open about all that as time goes on and his superhero persona bleeds into his civilian life more and more.
What has happened to them recently?: He arrived and reunited with Marinette! That's all so far, I really need to make a post so he can meet new people.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: I'm definitely throwing him into the upcoming disaster plot because he just genuinely loves being a hero and helping people so like hell would he miss that. And there are definitely loose plans for can tendency shenanigans, but otherwise I'm open to anything anyone wants to do!

Basic personality: Honest, forthright, and very reserved. He's slow to accept people as true friends, but underneath his somewhat dour exterior he's really a hopeful individual who believes in righteousness. It's just covered by heaps of nihilism right now.
What has happened to them recently?: He's just woken up! He'll be officially joining the Legion soon, though.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: Basically, I want to do anything that I can to shove Alexander into the role of actual hero, given that he really really doesn't like thinking of himself like that. I'm going to throw him at the disaster plot, but on the rescuing-people side, not the protecting-the-engineers side, that would be too easy for him. As for CR, I would love to have him interact with both extremely pragmatic characters and highly optimistic characters. The pragmatic characters he'd naturally gravitate towards, because he's very similar, but I also want him to interact with people who could help chip away at his nihilistic tendencies.

Basic personality: Gigantic nerdatron who reads a lot of books. Also a massive dork with no social skills. Super nice, will probably help you cross the street without asking. Also can lay a Hulk-smash style smackdown if he gets angry enough.
What has happened to them recently?: Well, they arrived, went to the UP Council, and suddenly found himself stopping Proton, and making it onto the news. It's been... a thing.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: I'd like to do more hero stuff with him. He's gonna be awkward about his secret identity not actually being secret, but I really want Gohan to be out there and actually proactively helping people. Saving people, stopping bad guys, even plots where he can actually use his brain more. I'm actually debating as to whether he'd be more fitting for the Moon generators this time, or the Assassination mystery.

Basic personality: Hotshot ace pilot/space cop with a tendency to act first, think later (if at all), and a metric crapload of skeletons in his closet. He's gotten slightly better at Responsibility with age (he's pushing forty...) but he's still very much a dive-right-in guy.
What has happened to them recently?: On the Earth trip, he checked out the Hall of Justice museum and isn't sure whether it's funny or horrifying that Guy Gardner is remembered as the greatest Green Lantern. He helped save the UP Council, and was chatting up the Daxamites before.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: The Daxamites mentioned that the Cargg representatives voted to dissolve the Legion, and weren't sure what their beef is. Hal's interested in chasing that one down, although missions and things happening take priority for him, so he'll sit on that thought until after the next plot, probably. MAYBE CAN BECOME A PLAYER PLOT?? I haven't given any actual thought to that yet beyond "it's a thing and he wants to look into it," but hey.
I'm always interested in doing anything that plays off the fact that he is from the game universe (or a very close version), just a thousand years earlier, so he's in a funny position re: what's changed (where are the Green Lanterns ;_; ) and how he's remembered (the media hasn't mentioned Parallax? that's good???).
I'm interested in CR of all types but especially enjoying Old Dudes Who Have Seen Some Shit Playing Team Dad To These Out Of Control Teenagers, so more of that is super cool, but everything is super cool. Come at me, bro.
no subject
But at the same time, I feel like Hal would be able to respect that Gohan has seen some shit, and isn't exactly new to putting it all on the line to save people, so much as he's new to the concept of wearing a costume while doing it.
Gohan apparently gravitates to green mentor figures(no subject)

Basic personality: Nerdlinger. Donnie's the guy who's trying to take apart everything and make it make sense, even when there isn't much sense to be made, although his canon point's been challenging that a bit. He likes online RPGs and getting into petty arguments on the internet.
What has happened to them recently?: He's been a little quiet lately, but whenever he's quiet it can be assumed that he's fallen into some particularly interesting science for a bit. He's been doing a lot of poking at the data about how everyone got displaced to this dimension in the first place, but he messes with other things too.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: He'll be on the disaster plot, attacking the problem from the techie end. Open to a lot of things CRwise, but given where his canon development was going, I think it'd be cool to get him talking to people from magical worlds, with magical powers, and in general anything that isn't neatly explained by science. He's trying to be more open-minded!

Also, I totally want Gohan and Donnie to be giant nerds together. I need this in my life.

They can play Dungeons, Dungeons, and more Dungeons together or whatever the Legion-verse version is.
Seriously, they have both LITERALLY been that guy that tried to find others willing to play nerd games with math and been sad over not finding someone. This is canon. They both have had canon scenes doing this exact thing.
I'd love to have some moment where they're both like "YOU LIKE GAMES WITH LOTS OF MATH AND COMPLICATED RULES TOO??"

Basic personality: Tends to shift from being eternally burdened by how she was responsible for getting Peter Parker killed, to being a gigantic dork with no shortage of causing second-hand embarrassment.
What has happened to them recently?: Right now she's just been mingling about and getting used to the whole Legion thing. She was given a glowing review by the media during the UP Council event, so she's feeling pretty good about that.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: Gwen's looking to really put her best foot forward, looking at this as a chance to do some real good out there and get some much-needed superhero experience. You can expect her to be out in costume every now and again. Also, she's gonna be looking to get some drums so she can continue where she left off with that. Being an amazing drummer, I mean.

Grif
Basic personality: Lazy jerkass who loves to bitch about any little thing. Believes that everything is terrible and can’t be fixed, so he doesn’t have to care about anything. The Legion actually seems like good people who actually have a shot, though, and it’s weirding him out.
Grif’s from a crapsack space future where the aliens humanity has encountered have all been awful, and his vocal whining about aliens is not making him friends.
(He’s also got a basic familiarity with comic book super heroes, mostly the big names, but I won’t push that with anybody unless you want to. He’s nicknamed Nova “Superman”.)
What has happened to them recently?: Grif has been kind of quiet because he actually hasn’t had much to justifiably complain about, and complaining is his favorite. (Also I’ve not been super active for OOC reasons, woops.)
He’s getting better at the speed power thing. He’s been trying to work on it where nobody can see him though, because putting effort into things is embarrassing and goes against the image he prefers to cultivate.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: I need to have him bother everybody about superpowers because he’s nosy. I also plan on involving him in the upcoming plot but I still gotta hammer out my ideas on that. Grif’s caught between being a lazy coward, and having agreed to help because goddammit superheroing is actually a force for good in the world and maybe not everything’s bullshit.
He needs to find some people to have weird, mutually annoying hatefriendships with. The kind of thing where you can’t stand somebody, but if they were gone you’d miss having them around to be disgusted with. He’s used to those.
Non-hate friendships are good too, but Grif sure does try his hardest to make that not worth the effort.

Tipple's Peeps

Basic personality: Just a ordinary dude from Long Island that got superpowers, spent a few years as a hero in the bush leagues, and became massively overpowered and pulled head first into a terrible space war. Dependable, incredibly stubborn, compassionate, generally good-humored, and dealing with some heavy shit from fighting in several space wars/crazy cosmic conflicts. He's adjusting to the fact he's, you know, not dead, which is novel considering the last thing he remembers before being pulled here is sacrificing himself to get his friends home from another dimension and dissipating into energy. Slowing down is going to lead him to start thinking a little too much about things he's been trying to avoid.
Occasionally has self esteem issues and thinks he's nothing special ("just a guy from Long Island") despite being a Big Damn Hero in space all the time.
What has happened to them recently?: Rich buddied up with Donnie in the plot with the Lux and is mostly adjusting to how clumsy he is after having so much of the Nova Force locked off. He's mostly just been making friends with people and I'd like to keep having him find buddies.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: I'd like to start tossing him into more action and will probably have him show off his natural disaster managing skills in the Naltor plot. He's evacced a LOT of planets. Also when we get to the cosmic threat plot after the next two plots, he'll be all over that, and I'd like to have him advising people tactically to help out with that.
I am also totally down with mentor-ey CR. I'd love to have Rich big bro at the younger characters more. He's like the consummate big bro/dad.

Basic personality: A combination of massive bitch and even larger tsundere. Videl is really fierce and opinionated and generally inflexible. She has a pretty rigid personal moral code and strong feelings about being a champion of justice. She's very blunt and a tad bit girly deep inside.
What has happened to them recently?: She just got here! Made friends with the training gym. Reunited with her idiot boyfriend.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: Videl is going to the moon. Naltor. She's going to pose with her stupid bf and save people and probably get frustrated and idk punch something. I'm really excited for her to jump into the heroing stuff and really get integrated with the Legion.
As far as CR, I want both positive and negative CR. I don't have much for specifics at the moment because I've had trouble building CR with Videl in the past. Videl has a pretty abrasive personality and I'd love for her to have some frenemies and people she can't stand, etc. And positive CR with people who can put up with her intensity.

Parker
Basic personality: Parker is socially awkward with a somewhat tenuous grasp of social norms. This doesn't stop her from being one of (if not the) world's best thieves and a terrifying criminal mastermind. However, she's only terrifying to people who abuse their power; she's strictly running Robin Hood-meets-Ocean's Eleven style crimes, proving that sometimes bad guys make the best good guys. She's a thrill-seeker and an adrenaline junkie, but she just wants to help people -- especially if there's a kid she sees herself in, because she never had anyone looking out for her. She's comfortable with violence, but it's not her preferred tactic when she can escape (to the air vents, out the nearest window however high up, etc) instead. She has a good heart and the kind of mind that rotates problems until a solution clicks itself into place.
She's also sneaky enough that it almost seems like she can teleport. It's eerie.
What has happened to them recently?: Missing plot stuff because my RL crops up at unfortunate moments! Mostly, she's been crawling around in the vents and throwing herself off of high things. She's also been saying hi on the comms more often, and probably confusing the crap out of people.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: Parker's a bit of an odd duck. She's also a criminal mastermind and pretty open about it. Let me know if you're interested in being pick-pocketed, having someone chatting at them through vents, or having a totally bizarre chat about their powers.
Tadashi
Basic personality: Tadashi is basically the perfect big brother. He's smart, he's patient, he's kind, and he will ride in on his scooter at the exact moment you need to be rescued. He also lo-jacked all your hoodies and shakes you upside-down by the ankles when you get inventor's block, at least if you're his actual little brother.
When it comes down to it, Tadashi is just a really nice guy and a supportive friend who strongly believes that someone ought to help people, and why shouldn't that person be him? But he doesn't exactly think clearly in high-stress situations, which is going to be a bit of a problem when he's running around being a super hero.
What has happened to them recently?: He's mostly just been hanging around getting his head together. I'm really looking forward to doing more with him.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: Tadashi is good at being helpful and supportive and big brother-y. Alternatively, if someone wants to poke him in his "dying in a fire" trauma, I am SO up for that.
