GAME OF THRONE [mod event]

Study of the Book of Magic given to the team by the Wizard finally starts to bear fruit. Close to successfully interpreting it so the team can use its knowledge to find something to use in the fight against Chronoblivion, a few of the book's last defenses cause havoc on Legion World, unleashing magical effects like indoor flooding, inverted gravity (so characters have to walk on ceilings and avoid crashing furniture), characters having personal theme music play around them from nowhere, and a plague of frogs, among other things. The team must work together to break the last of the books' defenses to undo the magic effects and reveal its secrets.
The discoveries in the book will cause the team to start facing the final leg of their adventure, where they'll have to start on a quest across the galaxy and across different dimensions to find what they need to stop Chronoblivion.

BASIC INFO
Magical effects will spread through Legion World, and these can be almost anything you can imagine. They can range from the dangerous, like rooms flooding with water that comes from nowhere; to the strange, like plagues of frogs; to the revealing, like network posts or logs that force anyone involved to tell the truth no matter what they're asked and won't let them disconnect until they answer some questions.
The mods are giving the players freedom to make these effects up. All we ask is that they don't cause permanent setting changes and that they are localized in ways that players who want to avoid them can do so by simply not tagging into a post. That said, players can ask about potential effects under the mod comment below to ask for ideas or check that their ideas are within the boundaries of the event.
Each scenario of strangeness is a "lock" on the book that can be broken a number of ways. If the situation is dangerous, thwarting it and saving the afflicted individual(s) will break it. If it's silly, a small period of indulgence and participation can cause the spell "finish" and wear out. Creative thwarting of its effects can end a spell as well.
Anytime one of these magical "locks" are broken, the characters will see ethereal golden chains in the air that lead to seemingly nowhere (they all lead back to the book), containing a lock between the links. The lock will snap and the effects of the spell will disappear.
PLOT PARTS/OPT OUTS
This is a mod event and is entirely opt-in. There will be a starting network post kicking off the event and a final network post where it ends and the Book of Magic is finally tamed and unlocked. Players that want to participate can tag into the related network posts and incorporate event elements into their own network and logs posts on an opt-in basis.
If you're doing so, please place a warning in your log or network post that it's part of the event. For those that don't want to opt-in people they can simply not tag a character into a marked post.
While the event will take place of the course of an OOC week, it will take place over a single IC day. While the plot is OOCly running, players that want to ignore it can thread out normal threads during that time that are completely unnaffected.
SIGN UPS
No sign ups are required. If you want to participate, tag into the network posts and/or incorporate the event into your normal threading.
PLOT START
Plot will go up: 10/21/17

PLAYER PLOTTING
Zenyatta: ... human?!
I'm thinking of having Zen's habitat overrun by cats. No strings attached. Just cats of every kind roaming around, and the spell can break once every cat has gotten their fill of pets and naps in laps or something.
The worst that could happen is probably this.
I don't know. My first thought after reading the plurk suggestion of angry ducks was "fill a room with cats."
Kia's doing the cats.
Zen's turning human. He's gonna need help.

Bunny will be 0 help.
