HEIST OF THE CENTURY

BASIC INFO

Someone has been going through and stealing treasures and artifacts belonging to the greatest heroes of history, literally stealing the legacies that the Legion is built on! As he walks off with the trophies representing the victories of great heroes like Superman, Green Lantern, and Valor, as well as their harshest defeats, riddles are found at the scene of almost every crime. Can the Legion decipher them in time before the mysterious puzzle master has left nothing to inspire those who will come after them?

THE BASICS

The puzzler has left behind a series of riddles! If the players can puzzle them out, they can. Those who want hints can ask, and if they decide they want answers instead, they can get the same information. Each riddle is a clue to a crime the mysterious perpetrator plans on pulling off.

Once the riddles have been solved (Or after two real-time days), the Legion will send out several teams to prevent the theft of the goods that the riddler has teased.

With the success (or failure) of each mission, they’ll receive part of a new riddle, leading to the the mastermind and his main goal. The showdown will occur after a week.

HOW THINGS WILL WORK:

Each player can only put forth one character for the plot, though all players can participate in trying to solve them. Platinum will tell anyone who has guessed correctly that they’ve nailed it.

All characters can participate in solving the initial riddles, but only the ones who have signed up can face the crooks responsible.

From there, they’ll decide what to do about the threats. Whatever they do, the riddler’s henchmen will try to steal the goods anyway, though each of them has a portion of the final problem they’ve been instructed to pass on, whether they’ve captured or escaped.

How events unfold really depends on what the players come up with, so OOC communication is key in this plot.
