GAMEWIDE HMD
This is the periodic Gamewide HMD meme!
✦ The Gamewide HMD is optional. If you opt out of participating in the gamewide hmd, please at least have an hmd up in your journal.
✦ This is not a love meme but it is okay to tell a player what they're doing well. Please also keep this constructive and let them know what it is you like so they know to keep doing it.
✦ If you ask for crit please also give some to other players. While we can't enforce this because some of it will be anon, the mod team would like to ask players to please try to give at least three other players crit.
✦ Please keep crit polite and constructive.
✦ Please escalate severe or repeat issues to the mods, if appropriate. If repeated attempts at constructive crit don't bear any fruit, there are rules for the many possible causes of this: bad player behavior, ICA=ICC, IC /=OOC, characters having to be IC, etc. If frustrating problems consistently happen without any improvement, it is possible they're verging on a rule break, so if that is the case, rather than letting things devolve into hostility, please escalate things and contact the mods to see what steps can be taken next.

This is also a good place to ask questions or make suggestions about the overarching plot.
You can request specific player plots and mod plots here and talk about what elements of the mod plot you'd like to see most throughout the game here. But if you have any questions about the next leg of the mod plot or want to discuss what's coming in the near future, you can feel free to under this comment.

I like how he has that thing where he tries to essentially get intel on people and figure them out in case he can use it in the future, but there isn't really a solid malicious edge to it. It seems more manipulative but not like he necessarily plans to manipulate anything to hurt people in the future.
He comes off as just having this habit of doing what a manipulator would do without necessarily planning to do bad things with it.
As for Adrien aaaah, he is already a precious good-natured angel. And I love the subtle like "so talk about my muscles again" mischievous Chat streak he has even as Adrien.
So mostly just positive things! I haven't really seen anything negative so I just figured I'd let you know Sara's coming off really interesting and Adrien seems really IC so far. I'm especially excited to see how you develop Sara because his character stuff is getting more and more interesting as you go.

I'm new to playing both of them, so I'm trying to settle in and figure out what the heck I'm doing and I'd be glad to know if there's anything I ought to tone up or tone down.

Donnie comes off very sweet and thoughtful and a little dorky and that's pretty much perfect.
I'd say the only thing it'd be nice to see with him is more of his pop culture nerd interests since that's shown up in the comics but that treads away from crit and more into future CR kinda territory anyway, since Donnie's a little more nerdy with his interests rather than his speaking/references. We oughta do some stuff with that in the future in the game in general like we talked about, like with people playing nerd games.
Hal's pretty much perfect. Some comic writers can make him super bland because his character voice is kind of subtle but you're doing a good job of making him distinct like the better comic writers do. And I really like how you're handling him mentioning parallax and the heavier stuff. There's a fine balance there that could be easy to miss because it is a traumatizing thing but he's also not the type to dwell too much and you put like just the right amount of weight on it.

I definitely want to do the nerd games and stuff, because you're absolutely right that showing Donnie's brand of nerdiness is more about what he's doing and less about him talking like a meme loving shitlord. We should find a good piece of downtime to wedge that in somewhere.

One thing I just wanted to make note of just so you know it's awesome and to keep doing it is you do a really good job with Tadashi's physicality. He's a character that expresses a lot in gestures and physical movements in the movie, because hey, animated character, and you do that well with having him do certain movements, especially little absent ones. Stuff like that is great so mostly I wanted to point that out as a thing to keep focusing on as you RP him.
