THE SPIES WHO SPROCKED US

BASIC INFO
Given the diverse array of feedback and the suggestion of wild card combining multiple options, the plan for the attack will be: Record, Fake Betrayal, and Trap.
Because why not screw over the bad guys every possible way they can?
The conversation in the post can be treated as recorded by drones and is damning enough to put the Council-people away for a long time, but following up with a fake betrayal will allow the team to earn the trust of their enemies and get more intel out of them.
And then they can try to trap them.

Warning: Given the Herald involved, the mods do want to give a heads up that at some point during the plot, characters may be influenced by War's empathic ability to cause others to fight. If it comes up, this power can be resisted with enough willpower. If any players, upon hearing about the possibility of the use of this power, would like to opt out and participate in "Through the Looking Glass" instead, you may, even after signups are closed.
