Party Thread and Upcoming Events

Just putting up some new mod posts and making some game announcements.

Whistling in the Dark" plot is now over, with the solutions suggested here being implemented. All players can backtag their plot threads as long as they please, and have their characters capturing the Lux worked into their threads.

A post-plot Party Thread is up here for the characters to mingle a little bit and celebrate their first trial-by-fire. This is a good place for PCs to meet the npcs if people would like.

Upcoming Events/Plots

- A field trip to Earth. The rookies will be taken to Earth to explore a bit and may find themselves running into some trouble threatening the UP Council while they're there.

That one is definite. The next two are coming up but will happen in whatever order the playerbase wants.

- A diplomatic trip to the Second Galaxy. When they arrive, someone makes an attempt on the life of the Kwai elder, Enkemet, the matriarch managing to keep a tentative peace between the many species of the Wayhome. The Legionnaires must uncover who made the assassination attempt and stop them from trying again.

- A galactic level threat comes through the rift, one feared and loathed in its home universe -- and one that can't be punched away. The Legionnaires must find an alternative to killing the threat -- not because of their oath but because it's so powerful it simply can't be killed.

The field trip to Earth will be the next plot run but whether the game runs with the diplomatic trip or the galactic threat is up to the player base. Which of these two plots would you like to play out first and which would you like to play out second?

Both plots sound cool to me and I'll be happy to play them in whatever order people like, but I personally would prefer to do the diplomacy one first and build up to the big galactic threat more gradually.

ALso in the "both sound cool and I will take them in whatever order" camp but I'm also a jerk who kind of wants to dive straight into the deep end and flail, so my vote is for galactic threat.

Chalk me up as another person interested in doing the plots in any order, because they both sound really interesting, but I do like the idea of building up to the galactic threat.

I think "diplomacy one first to build up to the incredibly terrible thing" sounds good also.
