Upcoming Plots Discussion
Hey there, Legionnaires!
Periodically, we like to check in with the playerbase to figure out what the upcoming plots are going to be and see if we need to rearrange the plots, add a new one to the calendar, or make any changes based on what the playerbase wants.
RECENT PLOTS
Recently, we had "The Rimborian Job," which was a low-key heist plot, and some media and holiday shenanigans.
UPCOMING PLOTS
The last state of the plot post lists some upcoming plots and their full descriptions here here. Starting in January:
Silent Horizon: A very heavy horror part, based on Silent Hill, Event Horizon, Aliens, and some other horror and sci fi. It will involve a bit of cosmic evil and body horror for what players are interested in it.
No Sanity Clause: Running at the same time as Silent Horizon, this will be the Legion's first encounter with one of Chronoblivion's Heralds, an alternate universe form of the Joker. The defeat of the Herald can weaken Chronoblivion (he only has so many agents) and provide information the Legion can used to take out the other Heralds in the future, and to uncover the corruption in the UP being caused by them.
Out With the Old: Running in late January and February, this is a plot where the Legion of Supervillains will kidnap the npc Legionnaires and the PCs will have to save them before they're executed on live TV. The LOSV will be made of any villains that players want to temp-npc in the game.
POTENTIAL FUTURE PLOTS
After a few weeks' break in February, the mods would like to run a plot in March. We're heavily considering a plot where Tsarista, the Queen of Fables, brings both Earth stories and alien stories to life, trapping Legionnaires inside them. Legionnaires would have to survive and escape the stories and defeat the queen.
The Queen will find an archive of ancient books, so players would be allowed to shove characters into everything from books like Lord of the Rings, to Tom Sawyer, to alien books that they make up entirely.
However, this is still up in the air.
We want to know several things:
1) Do you want any of the upcoming plots changed or rearranged? We would like to keep "No Sanity Clause" and "Silent Horizon" as is, since we have some things pre-planned for them already. However, if you'd like to rearrange "Out With The Old" or replace it with something else, we're open to that.
2) Is the "Queen of Fables" plot to your liking for March, or would you like something else? If you'd like something else, what kind of plot are you hoping for in terms of genre or focus? For instance: adventure, diplomacy, horror, some kind of disaster response, or anything else you can think of.
FEEDBACK
Please let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and feel free to ask any questions. When we're sure of a gameplan, we'll update the game calendar and do a new State of the Plot post.

For future plots, I'd love to see more horror as a genre too.
