We super need to have Kubo and Tadashi sit down and chat. If only to convince him that not all people with fire powers are mean and will make him cry.

Meanwhile, Tadashi will just be...openly thrilled for him. His parents died half of his life ago, and he's had his aunt and his brother and all his supportive friends (and a great mentor, who turned around and got him killed, but he's not talking about that with anyone but Dr. Ryk'rr yet). He MISSES them still, he knows he always will, but Kubo's still a kid, if only one of them gets family back, Tadashi would want it to be Kubo.

He already got to say good-bye to his brother and know he's going to be okay, which is more than he expected to get.
