Character Name: Cortana
Character Fandom: Halo
Basic personality: Smartass, cocky, nosy as hell, FITE ME, does not suffer fools gladly. If you cross the Master Chief, you have an enemy for life. Otherwise, she's pretty friendly to allies (albeit constantly set to 11) and useful to have around.
What has happened to them recently?: Saved the galaxy, didn't quite make it home, has been floating through space in a derelict ship staring at the Chief's cryochamber for like two months and getting a little squirrelly.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR, or other things to note about this character: Literally just got here, come at me sentient. She's a nosy as hell super-hacker, so if there's something you want to come to light, that's a possibility. (Offer not open to people she likes. Sorry Chief, all your secrets are safe.) Note: she's a disembodied AI, so unless you're physically in the same room as her data chip, she'll be interacting via omnicomm or computer terminals on Legion World.

Cortana barely knows anything about pop culture herself. She just looks cool and with it compared to the Chief's near-complete failure at being a people. Fortunately, she can look things up mid-conversation and no human will notice the lag. :>

Anyway, once she gets settled in, he can expect a lot of questions about Freelancer. (York will get it worse b/c Delta. Sorry not sorry, York.)

Honestly, that will wig him out more than anything else, because that was said in complete confidence and now Cortana knows it and Wash doesn't know a damn thing about Cortana and he is just. Not okay with it.

TL;DR watch him never tell Chief anything ever again, because now Cortana is listening.

Anything someone said while the Chief was in his armor, she can get without him having to be involved. But that's still less bad for Wash than "I read the comments in the firmware code in your armor."

Though, she's smart enough not to implicate the Chief. She might implicate the anonmeme, actually.

Basically I don't want to fuck up Wash and the Chief's CR, and Cortana is capable of discretion.

I actually went back and looked, and it looks like their whole sharing classified information conversation was when he was out of armor, so that might make life easier for Wash. (He doesn't like telling people he went insane. It's kind of intensely persona. 8D)

Cortana's presence will change things regardless, buuuuut we're all good at discussing things on an OOC level as is, so we should be fine. :Db

I just don't want her to completely torpedo anything positive, which she could easily do simply by being her usual nosy-ass self if I don't ask first. Major dick move on an OOC level.

Parker is looking for computer hackers. Want to come steal the past with her? She promises that she harbors no intention to harm Master Chief, just to put jingly reindeer antlers on him to help him get into the spirit of the holidays (from a thousand years ago).
