Policy Change
Hey there, Legionnaires.
After a lot of consideration, the mods have decided to lower the player cap of the game from 50 players to 40 players and since we're close to reaching 30 players as is, we wanted to give the game a heads up on the change now so it's not last minute.
This wasn't a decision that was made lightly. We couldn't really know how the game would run as it got larger until it actually got larger, and also needed to add extra help to the mod team to see what we could handle. Now that we have a better sense of it, and now that the game has progressed far enough that we have firmer plans for the course of the game, we feel we overestimated slightly. We feel that it'd be best for the health of the game to lower the cap to 40. There is a possibility we'll increase to 50 players again, but we feel it'd be better to not make that decision until we've reached the 40 cap and seen what it takes to run the game.
We'll put a notice on the last test drive meme of the change, and notify all the current reserves of the change to the policy so they know the game making the cap is closer than they thought when first reserving.
That leaves the caps as follows:
Player cap: 40 players
Characters per player: 4 characters
Cast cap: 8 characters per cast
