Plot signups are up!

TINKER, TAILOR, HERO, SPY

Several Legionnaires will be sent to a diplomatic meeting between the UP and Second Galaxy, so they can keep an eye out for trouble and also get a chance to watch a monumental treaty between the two galaxies. (Characters that haven't signed up to be Legionnaires yet can also go, as it's a social event.)

This meeting will fall under attack by some of the Legion's worst enemies, who will somehow have information on the powers and weaknesses of the Legionnaires to make them even more dangerous. This group of Legionnaires will have to rescue the delegation and survive a dangerous ambush.

After that, another group of Legionnaires will undergo an investigation to find the mole in Legion World responsible for leaking vital information to the Legion's enemies!

There are two parts of the plot you can potentially sign up for.


THE AMBUSH

The ambush during the diplomatic talk will be a brutal one, where characters will have to fight desperately against the Fatal Five to save the diplomats and civilians involved and each other. Characters participating can expect at least some minor injuries and this part of the plot is a good one if you want characters to have interesting moments defending each other or coping with the danger of the job.

What characters would be good for this part? Anyone!

How many can sign up? This is opt-in and open to as many as want in. Actual signups aren't required; characters can just tag in.


THE INVESTIGATION

The Fatal Five will very clearly be operating with private information about the Legionnaires' powers and abilities, leading to an investigation to find the mole on Legion World that's leaking vital info to the Legion's enemies.

What characters would be good for this part? Those with investigative or mystery-solving skills, or soldier skills.

How many can sign up? Up to 8 characters. This part of the plot requires actual sign ups.

Hal is definitely getting his butt kicked, because he needs to get beaned upside the head at every opportunity. Getting knocked out under ridiculous circumstances is like his version of Superdickery, ok. LET'S DO AWFUL THINGS TOGETHER?

Sam may or may not wind up in the ambush; I was kind of mean to him last plot, so I'm inclined to leave him behind on Legion World unless like nobody is staying back, in which case he'll probably get put in the ambush just because I get antsy if he's not tagging something. :D;;

I'd still love to have a Hal and dip dop moment here. Dipper would definitely want to pay Hal back for trying to help him so much.

Dipper is definitely participating in the ambush part of the plot. I'd like to have him rally from all the Lanternplot stuff and maybe look out for other people, after so many people have tried to help him. So if you want a ferocious tiny noodlechild child trying to give your character a hand, let me know.

Greg has abilities that are pretty useful for a situation like this, able to heal and protect others from harm for a time. His protection ability only works if he has enough time to set it up, so he won't be able to stop the first hit, but he can be pretty darn helpful taking care of people in the aftermath.

I think I'm going to have Hiccup get hit hard during the initial ambush, since his metallokinesis is a fairly heavy-hitter type power. Toothless will be guarding him and be handing most of the combat for the two in this fight.

Wash is definitely going to get his ass kicked. Then again, he's also pretty dang good at succeeding in very desperate situations, so he'll be good here. (Also, he'll heal. Yep.)

I am absolutely down for that. Expect Wash to go from zero to extremely overprotective in a hot second, because Dipper is a child in a war zone and that is Not Okay.
