STATE OF THE PLOT UPDATE/DISCUSSION This is your periodic upcoming plots update/discussion. Based on player input and how quickly the game moves along, some plots may have their order or dates be shifted around in the future, or new plots may be added, but this is the current schedule of the game's upcoming mod plots. IC ANON MEME✦ Size: Gamewide event, opt in. ✦ Start Date: 1-22-17 OUT WITH THE OLDTricked into an ambush designed specifically to attract them, the Legionnaires native to the Legion's universe will wind up captured at the hands of the new Legion of Supervillains. The LOSV tells the entire galaxy that in one hour they plan on killing the Legionnaires live on the links, hoping to break the spirit of the entire UP by taking their heroes away from them. What they're not counting on is the rookie Legionnaires, who are more than a match for the villains. Taking advantage of how the LOSV has underestimated them, the rookies must hunt down where the native Legionnaires are being kept prisoner and save them from a grisly fate, before it's too late. ✦ Size: Gamewide plot, opt in. ✦ Start Date: 2-08-17 ⟶ 2-22-17 THE BOOKS OF MAGICA trip to Sorceror's World to ask for help uncovering the source of the Heralds' spying on Legion World, and to find a way to re-entomb the Spectre, leads the Legionnaires on a journey through the strange and wondrous magical side of the DC universe. The Legionnaires must find out how the Spectre was entombed in the first place, and seek out ancient magical entities and artifacts to find a way to trap the Spectre again and cut off Chronoblivion's spy. ✦ Size: Limited plot, opt in. Set during "Out With The Old." ✦ Start Date: 2-08-17 ⟶ 2-22-17 MEDIA SHENANIGANSA new Legion Watch and Legionnaire Legacies. ✦ Size: Gamewide event, opt in. ✦ Start Date: 3-8-17 THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASSThey call her the Queen of Fables. Tsarista, the archetypal Evil Queen, has plagued the Justice League several times in the past, bringing the stories of Earth, Mars, and Krypton to life in an attempt to rule the world. When someone unwittingly releases her from her prison one thousand years later, she reacts with a vengeance, bringing stories to life as she aims for total conquest of Earth...and beyond. When she's capable of harnessing the power of human imagination and bringing any story to life, can the Legion stand up to this fabricator of fiction? Or will they end up being the 'evil generals' that the so-called Good Queen must conquer to regain what she considers to be her rightful throne? ✦ Size: Gamewide plot, opt in. ✦ Start Date: 3-22-17 ⟶ 4-08-17 THE SPY WHO SPROCKED USAfter the Legion's Espionage Division is re-formed, several Legionnaire good at black ops work and hacking are sent to track down the UP Councilmember or members that have been betraying the UP and the Legion to Chronoblivion, to bring them to justice once and for all, and find out more about the Big C. ✦ Size: Limited plot, opt in. Set during "Through the Looking Glass." ✦ Start Date: 3-22-17 ⟶ 4-08-17 MEDIA SHENANIGANSA new Legion Watch and Legionnaire Legacies. ✦ Size: Gamewide event, opt in. ✦ Start Date: 4-8-17 IC ANON MEME✦ Size: Gamewide event, opt in. ✦ Start Date: 4-10-17 TO HAVE AND TO HOLDA recently added UP member world, Olum, has several sources of mystical energy that can be used to block Chronoblivion's spying on Legion World and attack the Herald doing it. However, these energy sources lie in a sacred area only accessible through a single access point -- and people are only allowed through after a marriage ritual. Asking special permission for access, or for the objects to be handed over by the Olumites has led to their refusal, leading to the Legion sending a team of holo-disguised Legionnaires to get fake-married. If the Legionnaires don't complete the sacred journey, the marriages are automatically nullified, anyway, allowing the fake couples to simply take the objects and leave. However, the Legionnaires must pass through the rituals (in an alien version of the Newlyweds' game), to successfully access Olum's sacred lands. ✦ Size: Gamewide plot, opt in. ✦ Start Date: 4-19-17 ⟶ 5-03-17 THE OTHER MOTHERA secret door appears on Legion World that only younger characters (mostly teens) can see. In it is a strange woman that tells the teen characters she's their Other Mother, and she lives in a fantastical place that makes all their dreams come true. However, she wants the kids to stay with her forever, and the more they say no, the more violent she becomes. She starts to attack the adult characters and staff through the exits from her lair that exist in the vents, and because they're psionically influenced to ignore and forget her, they're helpless against her attacks. It's up to the kids to go into the Other Mother's world and stop her once and for all, to save the adults and save themselves from a gruesome fate. ✦ Size: Limited plot, opt in. (Characters must be teens.) Set during "To have and To Hold." ✦ Start Date: 4-19-17 ⟶ 5-03-17 DISCUSSION/QUESTIONS Player plots and events may run alongside any of these plots (and some players already have some minor events planned!), so feel free to propose and run any in the upcoming months. Player plots can be run as open for the whole game or be private to a few predetermined characters. If you have suggestions for something else to add to the lineup, or feel there's a gap that needs filling, please let us know. You can also suggest plots at any given time using the game calendar/plot suggestion post. As usual, Plot Mod Platinum will be running some flash plots, short one-off mini-plots that people can volunteer for. Watch the OOC for signups. Why are there two anon memes really close to each other? That feels like overkill.

We can definitely space that out a bit more, anon. We'll leave Legion Watch more frequent, since that's more of a news thing to show the characters' effect on the game universe, but we moved the next Ic Anon Meme further ahead to 4/10.
