Books of Magic [modplot] [finale]
Plot is up!
THE BOOKS OF MAGIC
OOC INFO - MASTER INFOPOST
PART 2 - HERE
ADDITIONAL INFO
There are 3 parts to the finale stuff. For the first part, while facing their magical shadow-selves, they'll be facing corrupted shadow versions of the PCs. These shadow-selves can be weak and insubstantial if the character is relatively good-natured, or powerful and deeply malevolent if the character has a lot of inner darkness. It's the player's choice whether they have the same superpowers or not, and exactly what form they take. They can either look like a twisted version of the PCs or take the form of something more symbolic. Characters can either defeat them by accepting them back into themselves (acknowledging the inner darkness in them that needs to be kept at bay) or by physically destroying them.
Rather than RNGing this, we opted to have this be open to player-created pairings, but since it's a big fight, characters aren't limited to just one other partner this time.
For the second part, the characters will have to decide amongst themselves which among them is the best candidate for grabbing the spear. Though this is a log post, this can be threaded a bit like a network post, with multiple conversations going on. Players can discuss who they'd choose in the comments here or on plurk.
For the third part, the wizard will have a few things to say.
