SO those of you that know RVB canon know that Delta was born from trauma. This stuff is gonna hit the boys hard and fast and end up with D falling as a Phalanx and making a horrifying cyber wire meat puppet of York while he's trapped in his own head screaming.

Their environment will shift from desolate stretches of the Mother of Invention to a wrecked Pelican to a large industrial area with fractal architecture with pits full of blond corpses in UNSC uniforms, all of them slowly becoming more and more entangled with fleshy, vein/nerve like cables that lead to twitching nerve clusters or rolling, violently green eyes in various sizes. Monsters that pursue them will be multilimbed horrors that are a mashup of human and Huragok anatomy, all writhing tendrils and chittering clicks.
When D starts to/does succumb similar vein/nerve like wires and cables will begin to bulge out from the point of his implant under York's skin, eventually tearing out and causing him to bleed/transform (the neural lace is growing in ways it shouldn't, oh snap). They'll become more and more like a cable covered horror with D using the bloody bio-wires to ensnare or attack those they come around. York's one good eye will be left unscathed but will start glowing green in the back of the pupil to act in conjunction with his 'charm' ability, kind of like an angerfish's bait to get people close enough to ensnare/strangle/kill, etc.
Up till D loses it York is gonna try his damndest to help people while trying not to freak out himself.
