That could be interesting, I kind of like the idea that Victor snaps Roland out of it a little too late to keep him from actually drinking the blood, and then Roland tries to keep him from getting himself killed? With optional adventures happening while or after they get away, since I'm assuming an actual fight with Faceless can't happen until the end so they'll have to run from him and then potentially face something else.
