Announcement: Some Plotting Info
Hey there, players!
Three things of note.
1) We'd like to do some kind of lighthearted log-based mingle post. We're leaning towards something silly like Ferro having the characters do team-building exercises like trust falls, but we're open to suggestions, so if you have any, please let us know in the comments.
2) The mods will be rolling out some info on the first upcoming mod plot soon. We want to give you some more time to have your characters introed but will probably be rolling out the first gamewide plot on the third or fourth week of January. But since it'll be based on the speed you're going in having characters adjust, please keep an eye on the OOC. We'll trot out the plot plan ahead of time so we can do signups, rng people for teamups, and give you time to plot together with your partners before it starts.
3) These are some long-term plotting links we want you to take a look at, that will now be linked to in several places for reference.
Long-term Plot/Character Goals
This is something we'd like you all to take a look at and fill out. Its purpose is twofold a) To make you aware of the broad strokes of the mod plot in the game so you know what you're working with as time goes on. b) So you can give some feedback on what you want to see from us.
You don't have to fill it out right away because sometimes it can take a little time for people to figure out what direction they want in a game -- and some wing it entirely without much planning at all (in which case, don't worry about filling it out) -- but it's there for when you need it. And if you ever change your minds on what you want from plotting, you can just edit your entry at any time.
You can find it linked in the game info, on the game schedule/plot request post, and it'll be linked on any future player plotting/mingle memes.
Plot In A Can Suggestions
This is just something we want you to be aware of. Sometimes people would like to run a player plot but they don't really have any ideas. Sometimes people have plot ideas and either don't have time to flesh them out or time to run them. That's what this post is for!
You can comment to this post and list any general plot ideas that you're willing to volunteer for anyone to grab and run with. So anyone that's hankering for a plot to run but doesn't really have any ideas can look through and see if they think they can run with one of them. We just want you to be aware it's there and just like the other post, you can find it linked in the game info, the game schedule/plot request post, and it'll be linked on any future player plotting/mingle memes.
